SunLink TRI/S 3.0 offers an industry standard network interface for 4/16 Mbps IEEE 802.5 Token Ring connections. SunLink HSI/S 2.0 adds four high speed ports for serial communications to any SBus system via an SBus board. Both are compatible with Solaris(R) 2.x operating environment. SunLink TRI/S 3.0 which supports Solaris 2.x, is not a replacement for SunLink TRI/S 2.0 which supports Solaris 1.x. Both SunLink TRI/S 2.0 and SunLink TRI/S 3.0 will continue to be offered through SMCC. SunLink HSI/S 2.0 which supports Solaris 2.x, is not a replacement for SunLink HSI/S 1.0 which supports Solaris 1.x. Both SunLink HSI/S 1.0 and SunLink HSI/S 2.0 will continue to be offered through SMCC.
